About the Armenia visa for Indians

Indian passport holders need a visa to visit Armenia, and the most convenient route is the official electronic visa. The e-Visa is issued for a single entry with a stay of either 21 or 120 days, and is applied for online without visiting an embassy. Approval normally arrives by email within a few working days. Visa on arrival may also be possible for Indian citizens at some entry points, and holders of certain residence permits or visas may have simpler options, subject to the latest rules.

Audvik guides you through the right route for your trip. We check your passport and photo, complete the e-Visa form accurately, advise on the best stay length and track the application until approval. We can also book flights to Yerevan, hotels, day trips to Garni, Geghard and Khor Virap, and travel insurance, and combine Armenia with Georgia for a longer Caucasus itinerary.

Armenia visa FAQs

Do Indians need a visa for Armenia?

Yes, Indian citizens need a visa for Armenia. The simplest option is the official e-Visa, applied for online before travel. Visa on arrival may also be available at Yerevan airport and some land borders, but an e-Visa gives you approval in hand before you fly.

The Armenia e-Visa is typically processed within two to five working days, and approval is sent by email. Processing can take longer during busy periods or if extra information is requested, so we recommend applying at least two weeks ahead of your travel date.

Visa extensions may be possible in some cases by applying to the migration authorities in Yerevan before your permitted stay ends. Rules are subject to change, so if you expect a longer stay, it is usually easier to choose the 120-day e-Visa from the start.

Travel insurance is not always checked at entry, but it is strongly advised. A good policy covering medical emergencies, trip delays and baggage loss is especially useful if you plan mountain drives, winter visits to Tsaghkadzor or a combined trip with Georgia.

Yes. Audvik can arrange your Armenia e-Visa together with flights, hotels in Yerevan, airport transfers, sightseeing tours and travel insurance. We also design combined Armenia and Georgia packages so your visas and bookings are handled by one team.
